Most clients enjoy 3–6 weeks of smooth skin; regrowth speed varies with hair cycle, hormones and individual genetics. Regular waxing can make hairs finer and slower to return over time. We recommend scheduling touch-ups every 4–6 weeks for best results.

Some redness or mild irritation is normal for a few hours after waxing. We use calming lotions and cool compresses to soothe skin. If you have very sensitive skin or active acne, tell your technician beforehand for modified treatment and extra aftercare advice.

Yes—waxing can be adapted for all skin tones and most skin types. We assess skin condition, sensitivities, and any medications first. Certain treatments or prescriptions may require a patch test or delay, so bring a list of products and concerns to your appointment.

Avoid exfoliating or using retinoids 48–72 hours before waxing. Trim longer hairs if needed and arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Hydrate skin in the days prior and inform us about medications, recent facial treatments, or skin conditions.

We advise waiting at least 24 hours before applying makeup to allow pores to settle and reduce irritation or breakouts. If you must wear makeup sooner, use non-comedogenic products and ensure tools and hands are clean to prevent infection.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy exercise and direct sun for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers and fragrance-free moisturizers; apply SPF if you go outdoors. Exfoliate lightly after 72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs, unless advised otherwise by your technician.
